question one: for contact weareres, do u usually have one of your contacts not feeling perfect like you feel them a bit but it's not that whole "i can't feel a thing'? i went to the doc and they did all these tests and said nothing was wrong with my eye or my contacts

question two: what exactly do they do to determine if there is a scratch on your eye? for me, they like scratched my eye to see if i had a scratch which made no sense to me, i don't know. what do they do?

  1. Both my contacts feel the same.

To test for a scratch, a dye is dropped on your eye and then examined with a magnifying lens.

  2. Im not sure on the second question, usually they just run tests... But i've been wearing contacts for a year, and usually that means that you either have a small air bubble, (how to get rid of an air bubble, is to when you first put in your contact, and able to blink, dake a tissue, and genty pat down your eye lid. Dont worry, your contact wont stick to its not on your eye all the way, not enough to fall off (hopefully), but be carefull, cuz theirs always a chance it can fall off. Or try put 1 drop of multi purpose sultion in the contact before you put it in, to make sure its wet enough, and ill make it more comfey!

Hope it helped, and that you had fun reading this!

  3. i've never heard of scratching your eye to see if you have a scratch.  Yea, that doesn't make sense.   As far as i know, they measure the curves in your eye and fit you with the appropriate contacts.

I've worn contacts for a long time and I really don't feel anything except when i do get something in my eye.  If they are bothering me, I'll take them out.   If they feel dry, I'll take them out.  But under normal circumstances, you shouldn't feel your contacts in your eye.  Sometimes eye drops will help if they are dry.

  4. 1. Absolutely, i feel them more the more tired I get

    2. They get a tiny piece of paper with dye on it and pull it across the eye - it hurts!!

  5. Question 1: If one of your contacts doesn't feel "right", and it's on an ongoing basis, you could have a slight astigmatism which will make a normal contact lens fit a little "crooked" so you'll feel the edge of it. Do you know if you have astigmatism? OR, your contact lens could have a small scratch or tear that you haven't noticed, so you feel that imperfection in the lens. Other than that, it may just be that your one eye is more sensitive and that's all.

Question 2: What did they "scratch your eye" with?? Sometimes they will "clean your eye" by wiping it so that they can see if there's anything wrong with your eye instead of just on it. Otherwise they will just use their lights and magnifiers to look closely at the surface.
