Question

on average how much weight did you lose breastfeeding.... numbers please... not "all my baby weight" b/c i dont really know how much "baby weight" is... this is my 1st child... lol thanks everyone and just for fun... any suggestions for girls names... someone will get 10 free points for the best! lol have a good one... thanks ladies

I didn't breastfeed, so not sure if my input is necessary, but I lost all the weight, which was 30 lbs, within a month of giving birth...and that was with not breastfeeding or exercising at all. I am assuming it would have came off quicker breastfeeding though so maybe that helps a little.

All th egirls I know that have been pregnant (which is alot, I am th elast of my friends to have at least one) all the girls that breastfed lost significantly more weight than the formula moms. My friend gained 80 and lost 60 in the first 5 months and then it took 4 more months to lose the other 20...

I lost about 10kg (sorry, not sure what that is in pounds) while I was breastfeeding.

It's different for everyone.  In general, the breastfeeding Moms I have known tend to keep on about 10 pounds until they finish breastfeeding.  I was forced to stop breastfeeding at 9 days postpartum and I was back to my prepregnancy weight within 3 months.
