2 song questions?

I have 2 auditions coming up. The first one, in September, is for Sweeney Todd and I'm drawing blanks looking for songs of a similar style to sing. What are some female songs that would fit in the style of music as Sweeney?

I'm also looking for some jazzy or bluesy music theatre songs for another audition.

I appreciate all suggestions. I'm going to the library soon to check see what might pop out at me, they have a good selection. Thanks.

For Sweeney, I would go with some other Sondheim. Assassins is good, but there aren't really any solo female songs. You could do something from Forum or Company. If you look up Sondheim, any of his other works would be good.

And for the second audition, there are a couple shows. From Black and Blue you could do "Taint Nobody's Bizness." And from Smokey Joe's Cafe there's "I'm a Woman." Show-wise, there's also Jelly's Last Jam and Ain't Misbehavin'.
