My boyfriend got his 1st speeding ticket a few weeks ago, going 25 over. It's 6pts off his license, but he's planning on going to court in an attempt to lower it (how much lower does it usually go?). Tonight he got one more because he didn't realize that it was a construction zone, but the officer let him off easy and said he was going 19 over instead of 20, so that the fine would not be doubled. It's 4 pts, but if we pay the fine, it'll lower to 2. Are there options for traffic school for both tickets? What is the best course of action?

  1. He needs to slow down before he kills someone. 25 miles over the speed limit is entirely too fast. I hope he has learned his lesson.

  2. The answer depends on your state you live, all the states have different laws but in your case I think you have to hire a lawyer because the speed limit yous said is more then over 15 miles an hour.

to find a lawyer in your city you can go to lawyer.com

  3. Go to the shoe store and have them remove the lead from his shoes, pay your fines and slow down.

  4. Pleading guilty in the court room does usually lower the ticket cost alot, probably do to the fact that you wasting a whole day at the court house to only say 1 word to the judge. Mine was a few hundred dollars and got lower to $75. You should be able to plead guilty to drop the cost and tell the judge you want traffic school so you can get it off your record. But i think you only able to take traffic school once a year so he will only be able to get one off his record.

  5. slowing down

  6. Being an X police officer I suggest he git his foot off the gas.  Why are you Young people in such a hurry to go no where ??
