2 vessels instead of 3 in umbilical cord (SUA??)?

Question

Hi everyone... I was just told today by my doctor that my baby's cord only has 2 vessels instead of three...I'm 37 weeks 3 days and am kinda ticked that they didn't tell me this earlier considering the problems associated with this condition. However, all the other tests and ultrasounds I've had have shown no other abnormalities or problems to be concerned about. So after looking this up on the internet and freaking myself out, do you feel I have any reason to be concerned?? thx all and I hope you're all doing great!!

I also to have singular umbilical artery i am going on 39 weeks am having my baby c section on tuesday. I know what your going through the internet when you look it up makes it sound like the worst thing ever but half of them things happening are very low but they have had happen. Manley I know baby's that have it have low birth weight but my baby didn't. Shes actually so big i cant have her natural and that's why i  have to have her c section. But anyways i know its very very common when carrying twins, I'm just very surprised they did not catch this sooner, they caught mine very early when the color doplor on the sonogram. They like to catch it Early so they can watch it I have to have stress test done every week once a week monitoring the baby's heartbeat.. they do this because of often with SUA the baby's have heart problems so the monitor it. Trust me I'm sure your baby's will be fine my baby has not had anything wrong with it or any side effects... keep your head up your almost done!
