I live in Toronto. I'd recommend a hotel because the have really nice ones that are 5 star, four star and they're really nice, like home. But they're a little pricey so go on expedia.ca or expedia.com and they have really good deals. or hotwire.com

I got a hotel that cost $450 a night at $130 a night. If you want then you can get a furnished apartment but not all of them are really nice. Mississauga has better apartments at city centre and it also has the biggest mall in ontario. The buildings are really nice from inside to outside and it's cheaper too.

I would probably go for a Suites Hotel.  something that has all the amenities of a hotel but with a kitchen and bedroom.

If you have scads of money the apartment would be good also but would it have a pool or a sauna or a spa?  The suites hotel would.

Depend on what you want and what you will be doing. If you are going to spend most of your vacation partying, shopping, etc, etc, then you will be outside most of the time. It will be pointless to rent a furnished apartment for that period.

But, if you planning to spend a lot of time indoors, then I would go for a furnished apartment.

Anyway, it all depends on your priorities. If I were u and I am going for a vacation to explore the Toronto region, I would go for a hotel room rather than an apartment.

Also, consult your family/friends regarding their thoughts about the right choice. If you are traveling with a baby, then you may find the apartment is a good idea.

I think you would run out of things to do for two weeks don't get me wrong there are a lot of things to see and do but if you rent a apartment you will have to stay there where if you get a hotel you could move around the city and get a different one say closer to wonderland for a weekend if you wanted to,plus they have pools and exercise rooms if the weather is bad

Hotel! Get full package of free food and everything. The last place you wanna be in toronto is in a furnished apartment that might have creepy crawlers.
