2 weeks in Crete, How much money will I bring ???

Question

Hi, I'm heading to Crete next week for two weeks, i aint a heavy drinker but I will be goin out probably every night.

I understand that the cost of living in Crete is low compared to western Europe and I can expect it to be alot cheaper.

For meals, alcohol and a few souveneirs, how much do you think I will need in total to last me 14 nights ?

P.S Does anyone know what Crete is like ?

Crete is a big island with quiet villages and active cities--lots to see and do.

Likewise food and drink prices vary considerably. If you choose carefully--lots of gyros pita's @ 2 Euro--you can eat well for 10 Euro per day. Normally two meals a day will run 20 Euro plus drinks.

I always have either the house wine or ouzo @ 2-3 Euro. Spirits are usually @5 and more in the night clubs.

Add transportation to this.

Have fun--you will be on holiday.
