Question:

2 weeks to get a LOT faster?

i have a meet (5k) in about 2 weeks and i am in no where near the shape i want to be in.. is it possible to get a looot faster by then? be honest! and i am also running with a team almost every day so i need some tips to also not overtrain

  1. WELL TRY TO RUN HILLS, TRY TO RUN UP AND DOWN ON BLEACHERS, THIS HELPS ON FOOT SPEED YOU NEED IN DURANCE AND SPEED.


  2. to not overtrain you need lots of water and nutrients. also eat complex carbs(wheat bread and pasta is good) and good protein foods(chicken breast, even red meat).

    Run a bunch, then rest a day and a half before the race, maybe even 2 days. but eat healthy/kind of light.

  3. High intensity running every other day
