  1. She doesn't have to have it.  Quit stressing and give her water, what's the big deal??  It's sugar and some fruit parts, she's smarter than the average 2 year old.  :)

  2. Juice is bad for the teeth anyway. I WISH my 2 year old wasn't obsessed by juice! I have to brush his teeth twice a day! Does your baby wat fruit? Because juice honestly is not a requirement for kids. But mine like Welch's white grape raspberry and it's 100% pure juice.

  3. try giving her a milk.maybe she would like it and also milk is way better compared to juices. they have lots of nutrients if you compare them with juice.

  4. Make her drink the juice.

  5. She doesn't need juice.  If she doesn't like it, offer water and milk.

SHe CAN have any type of juice -- if she's bored with apple and grape, try OJ, grapefruit juice, mango juice, pear juice -- there are dozens of options at your local grocery store.

  6. my 4 yr old and 22 mth old dont really drink a lot of juice but i buy them the Motts for Totts juice boxes they are really good and they are 50 water 50 juice but they taste pretty much the same. my kids love fruit 2O that flavored water. they dont like plain water but they will drink it with a little bit of flavor

  7. My son is the same way. He has enough of one flavor so I have't to switch it up. I buy those frozen concent., they have alot of different flavors, and it's already cold. Also, water is fine too. And Kool-aid. I buy the reduced sugar already mixed kind, he loves it. Try that.

  8. From a nutritional stand point, juice is not a necessary part of a daily diet.  If your daughter is drinking milk and water plus eating fruits and vegetables than juice simply is unnecessary.  It is a common misconception that juice is a healthy food choice.  In reality, it packs quite a wallop of sugar content even in 100% juice.  Your best course of action is to save money and her teeth and stop buying juice all together and offer her milk at meals/snacks and have plain water available to her at all times.  Juice can be a part of a healthy diet as long as it doesn't exceed 4-6 ounces per day and is watered down at least 50/50, but juice isn't necessary.  In addition to being a mom for 29 years to 4, I have been a child care provider in my home for 20 years.  When my youngest was born 11 years ago, I had Gestational Diabetes with her and learned some interesting nutritional lessons.  In the years since her birth I have had my blood sugar monitored and I am now diagnosed with Glucose Intolerance, a pre-diabetic condition.  One of the things that I learned all those years ago was that juice has a very high concentrate of carbohydrates in relationship to it's calorie content and avoiding all juice is a healthy choice for not only people with blood sugar concerns, but for everyone.  Eating a piece of fruit with a glass of water is always a much better choice than drinking fruit juice.
