  1. It largely depends upon your career level & your previous work history. If you've been a frequent job-hopper I would not suggest you changing a job now. Incase you are just getting started or have been steady with past employers I suggest move on. I strongly advise freshers and junior level staff to switch after 2 years 2 years in a job at early career is just the right time to switch.

    Best of luck..

  2. well its abt ur future

from the place from u standing wht u see,if there is grwoth if anything i mean salary, work ,knowledge & if good people around u than dont change ur job.

i thing u can change ur jobs upto age of 30 than u need to look god company & stay there

  3. Work always should precede monetary gains...Its a very short sighted view to make a change in career when you know that you are at a cusp of good quality work.

Remember the story of the man who killed the golden goose....all good things in like take time. The reward for work is more work and not money....

  4. if you are bored of the current job, same work for the past 2 years, its better you change, especially if you want to learn something new, and the more broader you work experience the more knowledge you gain.at teh same time try to check the other benefits as compared to the present job, if they do outweigh the present job, then i would definitely suggest a change the job.

  5. yr choise... if u feel that u want a change then change but if u r getting the same package or negligibe increase then there is no means of change....

  6. abhi i worked in a company for 120000 for 3 years and i learned work, got promoted 3 times with a minimum hike and  then i got a offer for 575000 with 8000 ESOP.

So if you think you have learned the trick of the trade, and you dont require any more hand holding and dont require any godfathers. then take a jump for a good salary jump, otherwise " known devil is better than unknown angle"

  7. there are few things to be considered.

if you are getting a quantum jump in your career you can change job. suppose the organisation is very reputed than the present employer, then yes you change.

if you feel the advantage is negligible, it is better stay back. because perseverance is success.

  8. I hear your pain!  I've been at the same job for six years!  The job is pretty boring, but the pay is fairly decent.  Because of the economy, we haven't been getting raises for the last couple years.  But our benefit package is excellent, so I'm hesitant to leave.  You've got to weigh the pros and cons, and follow your heart.  If you're doing something you love, the pay and benefits are secondary.
