2 yr. old magnavox widescreen plasma has a white horizontal line (faint) that rolls from the bottom -up?

Any ideas what might be causing this?

  1. It could be related to your power source. If you are plugged directly into the wall then you are likely picking up interference from other devices in your home and any other device that is upsteam on the power line. I would suggest a Surge Suppressor with Line filtration before calling a repair shop.


  2. yes it will be a device that is interfering. most likely a fan that is near your tv. if you have a surround system and the reciver has a fan move your surround system to see if that makes a difference.
