I am trying to conceive but this is my first cycle since an early miscarriage in early June. My period started July13-17 I took ovulation tests and they were positive starting the 28Th - August 1st so I ovulated around the 29Th-31st. My cycles before my miscarriage were around 32 days so I went on an ovulation calculator told them when my cycle started and that I had a 32 day cycle they gave me the same dates that I would ovulate as the ovulation tests I took. So I am assuming that my cycle is still 32 days. I know I ovulated b/c I get LH surges for 3 days. We had s*x before during and after those dates trying to get pregnant..

I am in cycle day 40 with no period and negative Hpts.

So Iam like a week late on my period. Some people have told me I could stll be pregnant and the home test not pick it up and to get a blood test to see. Others said I cant be if the HPT is not showing it.

what could be up I mean I know I ovulated and Im not getting a period or posite tests.

What could be happening??

  1. I have always heard just because you get your LH surge does not mean that you ovulated.

Or you could be a late implanter & just dont have enough hormone yet.

I'd give it at least another week & if nothing then go see your doctor!

  2. i would go and ask  your doctor for a blood test, or retest in a few days time, some woman don't show on a urine test till a few weeks after there missed period good luck

  3. hmm well u could be a late implanter and indeed be pregnant.. or your cycle could be a lil messed up from you m/c.

I personally have heard that if it is 16dpo (and u know for SURE u ovulated) then your preg..

and it makes sence becuase where else would the egg be??

    soo i guess CONGRADS lol

or u miscalculated! id say test in a few more days if no sign of AF!!
