20 gal glass aquarium breakable?

i got a 20 gal. glass tank (aquarium) for my hamster. & my dad thinks its gana break.

its in my room. & i usally don't throw stuff, but my dad's still worried. he says i might just hit it one day & the glass will hit me (and the hamster).

but is it possible to break it? y would they sell a breakable aquarium? i know you could break it by hitting it w/a baseball or hammer or something really hard, but it wouldn't break if i accidently hit my arm into it, right? or if i throw a pillow or a ruler?

i got it from petsmart & its brand's topfin.

the paper says it has a lifetime warranty but it doesn't say it could/couldn't break easily. it says optically clear glass & double sealed w/high quality silicone.

i don't think thts got anything 2 do w/it. on the back it just says they won't tak it back if its not on a specific aquarium stand. & it says if gets cracked, leaks, or breakage by mishandling, modification, abuse, misuse or negligence they wont they it back.

so should i switch or is it okay to keep?

A 20 gallon aquarium is really the best cage you can offer a hamster as long as it has proper ventilation.

I have a 10 gallon tank for my hamster. I've had these kind of cages for almost 4 years now and nothing has broken. The cage is in my room and I play with my hamster alot. I'm around the cage all the time yet it still hasn't broken. I also have plenty of brothers, yet have had no problems. Keep the 20 gallon tank. A ruler or a pillow or anything like that won't hurt the glass.

Make sure your hamster has plenty of things to climb on, yet room to run.

A wire cage is always best for hamsters because they enjoy climbing, it provides much better ventilation, and gives more room for exercise. Don't bother with the aquarium, just get him a cage suited for his species.
