20 gallon tall aquarium. what fish can i house in it?

ok so i was thinking about buying a 20 gallon tall hexagon style fish tank from a buddy of mine and i was wondering what fish could i house in it? i was thinking about 3 angel fish (fresh water) any suggestions this is like the 3rd time having an aquarium setup not this large though... I have taken care of a few fish like mollies, goldfish etc. and i was thinking of getting maybe a few cichlids. any tips, is 2-3 angelfish ok for a 20g tall tank. or should i get differnt fish?(i'm fine with only getting 1-2 angel fish)

1 or 2 angle fish is fine as long as they are small, if they are large they will fight. Your best bet is to buy cover for they to hide in, that way it looks good and it helps them grow and be more colorful too.

but in my tank i have 2 red fin sharks, guppys, teras, 2 angle fish (large) a 9in peco. ,leather louch, and more.... in a 35 gallon tank.

so it pretty much matters how good you are at rising fish and things like that.

2 angels is o.k. i guess but i know you will need at least a 30 gallon for other cichlids
