20 month old keeps taking his diaper off

Question

He takes it off all the time I keep pants or shorts on him hoping that he won't but it doesn't work anymore. I have tried putting him on the potty but he won't go. Any suggestions please.

Overalls. They are more difficult for kids to take off.

And keep putting him on the potty everytime he takes them off.

He may be ready to potty train, even if he's not going yet.

maybe he just want a little air down there. Pampers hold heat and just let him air out when he's at home

He ready for potty training. Let him go without the diaper for a little while. Let him see what happens if he doesn't have it on. Sounds like h**l have to do the clean up but it's time to potty train.

He just found something new & fun to do. My son did the same thing. We had to put overalls on him so hecouldn't get his diaper off. Eventually he realized he couldn't do it, so he lost interest. good luck.

Day time you just have to watch them, but at night we got him zip-up all in one pj's and put them on backwards. Beat having a wet crib and a cold, damp, naked baby every morning.

My 18 month old son just started doing the same thing. We bought him diaper protectors from walmart- they look like plastic underwear with an elastic top and leg holes- we put these on him every night at bed time or when he's running around the house in only a diaper and it's solved the problem. The elastic makes them harder to pull off and they also serve their TRUE purpose very well- preventing leaking diapers from wetting the bed! Lol. I've also heard of putting a small piece of strong tape over each diaper latch so they can't unlatch it that easily. My sister in law put a small strip of duct tape on each diaper strip and her daughter couldn't get them off (sounds awful I know but it worked!).

i think he is ready to potty train, my daughter is 15 months and constantly takes her diaper off, so i got her a potty and let her run around the house naked she has made a few accidents on the floor but i try to keep a close eye on her and when she looks like she is about to go i rush her over to the potty and sit her down. if you are home all day with your sone let him have that freedom of going without the diaper if you are out in public tell him that big boys have to keep thier pants on
