  1. I would call your doctor.  Back pains are very common and get worse.  But the tightening I would ask your doctor about.  You could also have a infection causing both problems.

  2. I just had my second daughter 4 months ago and had the same feelings. At times I would get a quick shocking pain in my stomach muscles. I was told that was normal the second time around. I also got pain down my bum and thigh but only on one side. That was depending on the baby's position. I started to see a chiropractor and that really helped me but not everyone is comfortable with that.

  3. It is normal, but you should probably mention it to your doctor next time you are there.

  4. The back pain only on the one side is probably by the way you are sitting or  lying down.. Pregnancy tends to exaggerate those little imperfections in our posture to make us miserable...Try to take a warm bath and massage it to make it feel better...The stomach thing...h**l yes... I felt the same way...It is just because your skin is so stretched as well as your muscles inside...When I lied down I thought my stomach was going to rip right in half..Just try to keep your skin moisturized and that should help...don't forget to double check that the moisturizer is safe for pregnant women...

    Congrats BTW :o)

  5. I have had that "solid" tight feeling in my stomach at night to. It is usually normal and just means your belly is stretching. Also the pain on your left side may be the side your baby is laying on. Just a hunch but these things you may want to bring up to your doctor. Good luck!

  6. Ovaries, kidney stones, large intenstine, there is a bunch that could be happening. 20 weeks?  Tell your doctor.

  7. It is normal, but make sure you mention it to your doc. on your next visit!
