I'm 20 weeks and I have no energy I get plenty of rest everyday & I take my vitamins faithfully. I thought this gets better in your 2nd trimester.. In fact my nausea never went away either. Oh and I don't have much of a bump yet I just look bloated.. UGH!! has anyone else been in my shoes? This is my first baby.

  1. Have they checked you for anemia?   In my second trimester, they checked and I was really very anemic.  I had been taking my vitamins as well.  They added more folic acid and Slow FE (iron).  It made a big difference in my energy level!  Make sure you check with your doctor, though.

When I was at 20 weeks, people at work kept telling me that I didn't look pregnant - just bloated and gaining weight.  My abdomen is long, and the baby could really stretch out without making much of a bump at that point.   I never really "looked" pregnant until closer to about 28 weeks!! A co-workers' bellybutton was visibly pushed out at four months along. Mine never, ever popped out - it stretched, but I didn't suddenly develop an outie.
