I'll be 20 weeks pregnant tomr with my first baby, I've only gained 4 pounds, which the doctor said was normal since I've had real bad morning sickness. My belly protrudes most of the time, but then it will go away, almost looking like I'm not pregnant at all shouldn't it stay protruding all the time now? My belly button is starting to go flat too.

  1. Okay well of course you should ask your doctor but if you gaining 4lbs is normal to him then this is fine.  Also my belly button went flat too thats just because of the stretching of your skin.  You probably protrude more at times then others because of being bloted but I am not sure about going flat again.  I am sure that everything is fine.  You should have had an ultra sound around 18 weeks have you had one yet?  If so then I am sure that you have seen the baby. Also by this time the baby is moving alot and depending on the babys movement could also depend on your tummy.  Good luck!

  2. Every woman's body is different. The baby could be situated closer to your spine, and thus you wouldn't show as much. Twenty weeks is only 5 months, some women don't show until 6.

  3. Dont let anyone tell you that anything is wrong and dont let anyone make you think it either. Im 20 weeks and some days I show some days I dont. Either the baby is shifting or like the other person said is more toward your back. I was never a huge pregnant lady. My first daughter was like that and so is this one so your cool.

  4. The baby could be shifting thus the reason your belly protrudes at times.
