200 QX56 Infiniti gurgling sound from front passengers side & blower quit working then came back on...

It made the noise for a week or so before the top blower quit working (but the floor worked). When we started the car up the next day it worked fine. It still makes the gurgling noise...sometimes more than others. We ran the AC full blast to see if it would stop but it seems fine. Also half the engine was replaced recently because it leaked oil forever and they couldn't get it to stop. It's under warranty but the dealership says they can't know what wrong until the blower stops again. I think they're full of it. Anyone know what could cause it??
