200 yard dash / 40 yard dash?

I'm 15. I'm a sophomore. I am 5'8" and i weight 130lbs. I run my 200 yard dash in 26.10 and my 40 yard dash in 5.04. Is that good or bad?

  1. you could improve in both, but they are not bad times. Ideally, you should want your 200m time to be about 24 seconds-- preferablly 22. and your 40m time should be under 5 seconds. At your weight, your 40 time should be 4.7 or 4.8

    but you are young and will pick up tips on form and speed work, and your times will improve drastically, and only cause you changed things on your form.
