2000-2008 Historical Changes?

So my sister asked me a question....what changes have happened between the year 2000-2008? She is talking about Historical, political, economic, cultural, and technological changes.

MY BELIEF IS =nostodamas once predicted that a muslim will be leader of EARTH. our presidents have been teaching the foreign countries how to refine oil plus new technology. So now their's a person, born in Kenya, 30 years of schooling in foreign countries. made senator with a muslim name. his religion muslim, where America has no meaning. recieves $3.5 million as a bought senator, talked into running for president, taken to south africa where he marries many female muslims and returns to America. he's expected to become president and caliph of EARTH. so others are putting a oil choke hold on America to take the facts of this person off the talking market. but once in office plans to pull all coalition forces out of iraq. lay-off 80% Americas main military forces. then he'll tell the telibonn and they'll invade iraq and the mobile launchers that our satelight picked up plus 85 more loaded with a poison that killed 5,000 kurds in a week. wiil be brought up to surface and placed in certain locations to be launched to all free world countries. this is the difference between the year 2000 and 2008 in reality, not counting global warming causing havoc in disasters and 31,000 scientists and the  E.P.A. have all concurred that man is'nt the cause for global warming, but we do have a solution to delete global warming.

2000 was a fairly peaceful and uneventful year.  The economy was strong, terrorism was not a problem, gas prices were low, and technology was exploding.  

2008 did change a lot from 2000- terrorism is an issue, the Iraq War is still going on, energy prices skyrocketed.  Technology is a lot better than it was in 2000.
