I'm going to have to do this and wanted to know if there was any recommendations from the experts on what I should also change/replace while I'm doing this. What's normal for a car with this mileage. By the way, the car is running perfectly besides the gasket leak...I'm not sure that anything needs done extraordinary, but wanted to ask since the mileage is getting up there so I don't have to take the engine apart again here in a couple more months when I could do it now.

  1. plugs wires distributor plate seal injector o rings coolant hoses water pump dont forget to bleed the system when you are done or you will be doing it twice

  2. Other answer was good. I would add that with this many miles, if the gasket was leaking internally for a long period of time, possibility you will end up with a lower end knock. If just leaking externally, no worries.
