Besides "tune-ups" and routine maintenance ... i.e., replacing spark plugs, worn wires, serpentine belt, oil changes every 3000-4000 miles, etc., etc., when needed. Am I at the point now where I also just cross my fingers and hope for the best? (I really like this car, and want to get my money's worth out of it...)

  1. just keep doing what you have been doing the body will rust out before the engine gives up

  2. Pray........... alot!

  3. You don't need to pray. Just keep changing the oil and keep up the maintenance. You may want to power flush the cooling system as well as powerbleed/flush the brakes. Changing the trans fluid as indicated in the manual is also a great idea. You got it this far, keep going!
