2000 GMC Sierra factory alarm?

it only responded when the transmitter was on the driver window. Now it doesnt work at all. Does anybody know how to solve this?

  1. Get a new alarm.


  2. check/test/replace the battery [first]

    if that does nto help, then you might need a new [fob]
