  1. Had the same problem with my wife's 98 CRV, it ended up being the evaporator under the dash. I searched the web and it seems they are prone to leak. Like the post above says I would take it to a reputable shop as it is not an easy job replacing it. I was able to pull the cabin air filter out and see the PAG oil all over the inside of the evap housing.
