My 2000 Ultra 150's connecting rod decided to break into a million pieces over the summer

Does anyone know how these connecting rods get attached? Its not like a car where it gets bolted down....

Thank you

  1. Like in most two strokes, the crank shaft is assembled in segments. to remove the big end part of the con rod, the crankshaft will have to be pressed apart. When a new con rod is fitted back onto the crank pin, the crank has to be assembled in a jig to assure the alignment is correct.Miss alignment of the crank will cause vibration and tear the crank case apart.
