2000 Toyota Camry or 2002 Honda Accord?

Which one of these cars do you recommend I get...if either??

I was looking at a 2000 Toyota Camry sedan. It has 125,000 miles, power everything, clean carfax (1 owner), and in overall good condition for $6,400.

I was also looking at a 2002 Honda Accord sedan. It has 130,000 miles, power everything, clean carfax (1 owner), and in excellent condition for $7,000.

Do these cars sound like something I should be considering?

  1. Hondas are way better than Toyotas. Why? Because Toyota's perform lame and Hondas keep you awake on the road.

  2. i would go with the accord a bit more durable and probably in a little better condition considering its 2 years newer than the camry, you can probably talk down the price too. goodluck

  3. Which one has maintenance records?  If either car was maintained properly the mileage shouldn't be a problem but if the previous owners didn't take care of them you could be buying a headache.

  4. Honda

  5. 2000 Toyota Camry because it has less miles and cost less while the Accord has more miles and cost $600 dollars more.

  6. Both are good cars.  The mileage is basically the same but the Honda is 2 years newer. It's also more expensive.

Compare the options and standard features, if they are basically equal, compare the way they drive, if they are basically equal compare the overall condition and the available service records.  If they are basically equal buy the one that you can get for the cheapest price.
