2000 Toyota Solara Keys

Question

I have recently bought a 2000 Toyota Solara used but the car dealer only included 1 key.

Should I buy a second key at a Toyota dealership or can i trust ebay.

I was also planning to do the same by also getting a keyless remote

I cannot imagine how you could get a key from E Bay that would not only work in the locks on your car but also disable the immobilizer system. Go to a dealer for the key. The remote is a possibility as long as it is the same shape, look, # of buttons etc. It will need to be programmed though.

My Toyota Celica has a special "code" that I can use -- just call any Toyota dealership with that number and they can get the key that will fit your car.  

Don't do the e-bay thing... you'll regret it!
