  1. Unless you've done it before take it in. If you s***w up your timing and don't do it right then you will destroy everything in the head. It's difficult too and you MUST have the right tools and know-how. Do not attempt it if you're a novice.

-don't get cocky with it either. You can cost yourself a lot more money than it would to have the timing changed by a professional...

  2. 1. You really don't need to change Timing "Chains" at all. That's the main reason why most Timing Chains are inside the valve cover of the engine block itself that needs lubricant. All it needs is inspection & re-tension if needed.

    2. If you have a Timing belt and want to change it.

Don't buy those HKS, GReddy top brand bullcrap.

It's a good way to waste money and them to earn money. An OEM Timing Belt for Honda is good enough to do the job within 100k - 144k (60mi - 90mi) without a hassle & it's a LOT cheaper. Because the Timing Belts' job is to correct the timing between the Crankshaft & Camshaft. Nothing else.

...It does not get twisted, loosen or stetched at its limit, there's a reason why OEM Engineers and Developers put it through a rigorous test to see its limit before it gets mass-manufactured

  3. wtf

stick with oem replacement belt or an hks or greddy one if you want more durability and if you're willing to pay a little more cash. Dont try this....it sounds bizzerkkkk

  4. I highly doubt that there's a kit available. A timing chain needs oil to be lubricated where your belt has no oil passages going to it. Why switch anyways, they're good for at east 60k miles. Change it before it fails, it doesn't cost much. Timing chains have there drawbacks as well.
