I have a v6 2000 grand am and the ac compressor was acting funny, so i removed it from the engine block; and now can't get it out from where it is. i've tried taking it out from the bottom of the car, but it gets stuck on the frame. and when i try to take it out from the top, it gets caught in hoses and part of the engine. (i even removed all the hoses in the way!) any suggestions on how to get that thing out of there!???

  1. trade it in

  2. loosen the bolts on the outer edge of the frame do not remove them do this with the car jacked up from the body no jacks or stands on the frame and remove the passenger side front wheel and the plastic shield and the compressor will come right out through the opening
