2000 silverado distributor conversion

Question

I have a 2000 silverado with a 5.3 L V8 and i want to remove the coil packs and install a distributor does the engine have the gear for a distributor in it?

No there isn't a way as far as I know. I don't know why you would want to as this is a bullet proof system. If you want to add a few horse and torque buy a hypertech tuner...

No it won't work and even if it did, the computer would throw a s@#t fit.
