problem, i have two 4ohm dvc 12" l7s and two 2000w rms amps @ 2 ohm. i was planning on only using one amp but then realized theres no way to wire my subs at 2 ohm since there 4ohm dvc. so can i run one amp to each sub and turn the power wayyy down using the gain or some other way?

  1. run them both off 1 amp @ 4ohm and build the box a little on the larger side to make up for the power loss.

  2. Well, you can run the 2 subs at 4 ohm total, and the amp (depending on specs) should give out at least 1000 rms.  You still have 500 RMS going to each 750 rms sub.

The benifit to this setup is that your amp will be giving out 1000 rms without even breaking a sweat.

Otherwise sell the L7 or pay a shop to swap the subs for like 100 bucks and run D2 subs at 2000 at 2 ohms.

    Good Luck
