2001 GSXR600 motor question?

I have this bike with 15000 miles on it. How long before I will need a new motor? engine? I got the bike when it had 14K and I had regular oil changes. I have no problems with it now, but I want to keep this bike (it's a show bike with lots of mods). Roughly, how much could a new/used motor cost? engine?

If you maintain the bike well then It shouldn't need any major work until at least 50,000 miles.  But when the time comes, the chances are that you would just need to get the engine rebuilt. That means you would just need to repair the part of the engine that is worn down, like pistons, crankshaft, etc.

But I'm sorry I don't know how much that would cost, maybe 700-1000, but that's just an estimate.  If you want to know how much  a new engine would cost, then call your dealer.
