I've checked the battery and it's fine. Fuel pump primes but bike won't start. Any thoughts? What might I have missed?

  1. Try starting the bike then remove the plugs.  Does it smell like gas?  If not check both the wiring to the injectors and that fuel is actually getting there.  If you can smell gas check for spark.  If you do not have spark check the wiring and check the safety stuff, like the kickstand safety and kill switch.  If you do have spark then it has to be either the timing, not likely or intake/exhaust obstructions.

  2. do you have spark? check all your wiring harnesses. make sure you got power at your coils

  3. I did the same exact thing. The problem was I forgot to turn the fuel switch back on. I turned it to off when removing the tank.

Just make sure the switch is on, the nozzle isn't covered with paint, and no hoses are crimped by the plastic. It's got to be a gas issue since no other performance parts were touched during disassembly.

    Can you push start it?

  4. this happend to me too when i pulled all my plastics off it pulled one wire out of the computer system and all i did was plugged it back in and it started right up so check for loose wires around your wiring harness
