Passenger side window button does not work but driver side opens the window just fine. One peculiar thing is that when I am opening or closing the passenger side from the driver control, pressing the passenger side button in the opposite direction will stop movement of the window. Otherwise, the passenger side button does not function at all. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks

  1. Me thinks you my have a wire loose (or broken) in the hinge area of the door.

  2. check the button at the top of the switch panel on the driver's side that looks like a window with an X through it.  that button is the window lock-out switch that prevents the right side window from being opened by a passenger.  the reason its there is that if you have a child in the seat then the child can't open the window and climb out while your driving.

that lock button may be a rocker switch that goes left to right or it may be a toggle switch that pushes down and pops up.  it usually gets engaged by accident when cleaning the inside of the car or by hitting it accidently with your hand.

sounds to me like that's your problem
