2001 Honda Civic engine noise?

I've got a 2001 Honda Civic EX and recently there has been a strange rattling noise coming from the engine. The sound comes and goes. It started out only doing it while sitting at stoplights, but now it's started doing it when I coast at higher speeds. As soon as I accelerate, it goes away. Any idea what it might be?

My bet would be the honey comb filtration inside the catalytic converter.  Once the loose piece turns just right your car will start backfiring  or have no power and youll need a new one.  I ran mine for 6 months before that happened.
