I have had this car since October and have been putting synthetic oil in it when I have my oil changed.

Do I need to continue putting the synthetic motor oil in or could I get away with the conventional motor oil and not have any problems?

  1. Conventional and Synthetic oils are compatible so you can switch between them with no ill effects.

But if you have been using synthetic oil why switch?   Synthetic oil lasts longer, has less problems with deposits, and gives you better fuel mileage due to lower friction.

  2. you can switch with no problem to conventional oil
