2001 Saab soft top failure

Question

My soft top stops when going down and the SID displays a soft top failure. After I pause the roof function, I can manually push the roff back and it then goes down automaticaly. I've added Saab hydralic fluid so that it is just above the the top line. This has not correcte the issue. Any other ideas please.

If The Wind Blows Too Hard, The Weather Is Too cold, or there is something thats blocking the top from going down will trigger the top failure sensor to go off. mak sure all doors are closed as well and if none of these things are a problem, ide go see your local saab dealer mechanic.

Attach a TECH 2 and it will tell you a fault code. this fault code identifies the fault to be fixed to correct the problem. No hit and trials please. Go to your dealer.
