2001 VW Beetles reviews or feedback?

I am looking in to buying a 2001 VW Beetle and was wondering if anyone has had one if they could give me some feedback on whether they are good cars or not. Thanks so much!

it depends on how many miles it got on it. i have a 1998, 122k miles and i dont have to much problems. i like it.

they made consumer reports annual list of cars not to buy used.... every year they were made from 98-05

it  like all vw electrical prob

stupid stuff like power windows  ing switch as a recall

but  not to bad of a car
