Whether it's hot or cold, my truck will sometimes turnover quickly without starting. Then I turn the key again and it starts with no problem.

  1. Once in a while you come across a vehicle that requires 2 or 3 turns of the starter in order to turn over. It usually isn't a problem, however if it starts taking longer or drawing more power from the battery to start, you may want to think about replacing the starter, as that is usually a sign of when they start to go bad.

  2. The problem with your vehicle is the fuel pressure regulator leaking.
