It's a 2002 3.0 quattro audi a4. It runs perfectly fine - only 124 000 kilometers.

Was in an accident - front left side - but it has been repaired properly and runs fine.

Is it a good deal?

  1. First of all.. you should Kelly blue book it with the knowledge you have of the car.  www.kbb.com  Also I had a 99 audi a4 and the transmission went out of it shortly after 150,000 miles.  Good luck.. Make sure you Kbb it and don't spend anymore than what its listed as.

  2. For that kind of money... I'd buy a new one!

At 165.000 you'll need to do the engine shortly, the gear box is not warranted for much more than 200000 and all the others (steering, brakes, etc.) will need repairs soon.

Also, the entire tin can is possibly rusty. Check it out!

Or use the 8800 as a down payment and get a new Ford Focus!

Or a Hyundai i30, KIA Cee'd or Volkswagen Jetta.

May also think of a Suzuki SX4.

Your choice... But new is new! And 165000 means 4 times around the globe at the Equator... No car in the world lasts much more than that without repairs.... You'll soon start chipping in...

  3. Yes.

My 2000 Audi A4 (1.8T) has 65K miles.  Also runs like new.  And the Kbb.com only list it as $10,000 for excellent condition.

    That is the going rate.

    Good Luck....
