  1. sounds to me like you might have gotten a dud Alternator.

Therefore , the battery doesn't get charged and you cannot start the car.

    time to replace it.

same thing happened to my friend.

  2. Starter solenoid! Get it replaced.

  3. It is definitely the starter.

Unbolt it from your engine (should be 4-6 bolts)

Take it to your local auto parts store and get it replaced.

There is a core charge so you save money if you give the old one to the store.

    Goodluck !

  4. make sure the battery connections are clean and tight,  make sure the earth wire which should be under one of the starter motor mounting bolts is good.  if thats all good i would say the starter motor is your problem-  assuming all the wiring looks good.

  5. sound like starter

    is battery full charge ?

    good grown on engine ?

    click  click is solenoid switch

prob wire  between selenoid and  starter

    coroded

need new starter or rebuild one

  6. Your car requires more juice to start than to turn on lights, radio, etc. Try to jump the car just to rule out the battery and altenator. If it still doesn't start, only getting the click noise, it is definitely your starter. Make sure your pos. and neg. wires are connected well. If they are, your going to need a new starter. Check out Autozone.com, not only will they quote the price for you, there will be a link at the bottom that tells you exactly how to change it out. Good Luck!
