What kind of oil for a 2002 Toyoyta 4Runner?

5-30? 10-40?

I dont know..........Please help.

  1. Owners manual has great info on that if you have one. 5w-30 its a thinner. It moves alittle better in cold weather. Easier start ups.  5w-40 its heaver and coats parts well. moves good in alittle warmer weather.


  2. 5/30 synthetic or Castrol 10w-30

  3. Open the hood....it states proper oil viscosity on the oil filler cap.

  4. I would use 10-30.
