How are rm125's, are they fast slow, good in the woods or not.

I have heard that they have no bottom end power once so ever but once the power band hits in you should hang on. Is that true about having no bottom end power. i would get a 2002 rm 125, are they good. Thanks!!!!!!!!

  1. Suzuki Rm's are good bikes. they are quick, fast, and nimble. 2 strokes don't have a torky bottom end like a 4 stroke, they are good in the woods but make sure that regularly you pull in the clutch and rev the bike up a bit. 2 strokes build up carbon. reving gets rid of the build up. I would definately go for the Rm 125. Who ever told you there is no bottom end power must have been comparing to a 4 stroke. they are great bikes and have a good reputation for lasting and running and performing excellent. Just look at Travis Pastrana. He rides a RM 250cc 2 stroke. Take my advice, get the bike

  2. The suzuki RM 125 is a great 2 stroke machine. the magazines that test the bikes every year will do tests on the bike that are geared more towards the expert level rider. Saying the bike has limited power on bottom doesnt mean much to the mere normal person out enjoying a day of riding with his friends, also, the bike is in stock form....

to gain more bottom, try an aftermarket pipe and silencer like FMF or Pro Circuit.
