2002 sony 5 cd player

Question

while it was on, i tried to insert a tv jack plug into it,just before that happen i heard a noise coming from the sony speakers or maybe it was inside the player itself. now on the display screen of the player i see push power protect. the player is not playing right now.how i can solve this problem???the serial number of it is 8113939.
