2003 BMW 745Li Audio Malfunction?

I have a 2003 BMW 7 series. The stereo/audio is making an interference noise. You could baerly hear the music. Whats wrong with it? Can I fix it?

No you can not fix it. The audio/communication system in an E65 is so complex that only a dealer with its diagnostic equipment can work on it.

The most that can be done outside of a dealer is to check that all the wires from the antenna,to the antenna amplifier,  to the radio, to the amplifier, and to the speakers, are all intact and properly connected.

I talked to a BMW salesman and he was not able to tell me that I could do any work on the vehicle and when the 4year/50,000 mile limit is up, your screwed. Go to a manager and tell him that this is not a regular high casualty item and BMW should be held responsible.
