2003 Camry not starting, battery not turning over, no headlights, lights on dash work..battery or alternator?

Went into a store for twenty minutes. Came out and it wouldn't turn over. Found someone with jumper cables. Charged for 20 min before it would start. Checked fan, it quit running. Tried again with a different set of jumpers, got it started within five minutes, car quit as soon as headlights came on. Indicators on dash would come on when key was inserted and tried to turn over engine. Green light on battery indicates a good battery still. No obvious signs of corrosion on cables, though it charged better when jumpers applied directly to cables. Am I looking at alternator? It's been a while....how much do you figure I'm looking at?

see im having the same problem with my chevy silverado i got a brand new battery and a brand new alternator and still nothing i can get it jumped sometimes and other times it wont and when it does jump it wont even stay running long enough for me to pull off the jumper cables and close the hood before it dies again
