I just recharged my system and while recharging it the system itself made a little noise, i did it without the engine running like the can said to do, i used 134a with leak sealant. Well after recharging it my a/c has gone from cold to hot, the a/c seemed to kick on and off regulary while driving, the ac would get cold and hot and I would shut off the ac with the button by pushing it in and it would shut off, then turn it back on and it would be cold but now its just blazing hot. My a/c lines are cold and everything but my results inside the car are hotter then h**l. Anything that stands out or any suggestions on why my a/c is acting like this?

  1. a bad connection

  2. Could it be airlock in the system? You need to bleed it & recharge again. Be sure to charge from the inlet & not the outlet, that's one cause of airlock, old models of A/Cs only. Check the glass window on the reservior for bubbles. A steady big bubble on idle is ok, many bubbles is not, when you rev the engine there is a very fine stream of bubbles going thru is ok. You can bleed the air from this end that the bubbles are passing thru. Maybe you need to replace the auto relay, but I don't think so.
