Question:

2003 Jeep Cherokee won't start today?

I haven't noticed any problems with my Jeep. I last drove it on Friday. I went outside earlier to go do errands and it wouldn't start at all. I found a bird nest under my hood last Thursday and removed it and had it filled up with antifreeze. That's the only time anyones been under my hood in awhile. I have wondered if I bumped a cable to the battery while removing the bird nest but was told it was fine. My Jeep only seems to have very little juice. I pushed on the unlock button on my key chain and the little arrow like things that point to how fast your going etc.....were wigging out. They just kept going back and forth really fast for about 10 seconds then stopped. I hope the problem is just a fuse but I can't even take it to a auto shop to have them test it. Does anyone have any ideas?

  1. When you attempt to start it do you hear any clicking? -if so it's your battery (charge it)... Even if you don't hear any clicking it's still probably just your battery loosing charge from not being run in a while.

Still it could be much worse and you could have wiggled (possibly shorted) some wires going to the ECM and burnt the computer out. This is doubtable but very very possible.

Try charging it! If you don't have a charger, im sure one of your neighbors would have one lieing around. OR they're around $20 at autosone, or even walmart!

write back if this doesnt solve the problem.. there are a few other possibilitys
