Question:

2003 Oldsmobile Alero fan only works on the two highest settings.?

I found the answer to this question on here earlier, but now it seems to have disappeared. I have a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero and fan for the AC will only work on the 2 highest settings. The answer I saw earlier said the, I think, the blower resistor may be bad. Anyone know if this is correct?

  1. Either the resistor has failed or the wiring connecting it has a break in it.

    I had the same thing happen on my '85 Nissan Pickup.
